The DLS R66 is a slim, floor-standing loudspeaker designed for
home theatre systems and hi-fi applications. The priority was to
achieve ultimate sound quality with deep bass tones from a slim
speaker design. The exceptional performance of this speaker is a
result of advanced speaker-design skills and unique driver
technology.
-The superb high frequency resolution and dynamics is the result of
a newly designed 28 mm tweeter. The innovative, internal-acoustic
design results in extended frequency response, high speed and
good timing.
-The bass-midrange and bass units work together in the low
frequency region and the doubled cone area results in a deep bass
with high dynamic and low distortion at upper levels. The light stiff
non-compress paper cones, result in clean, fast and uncoloured
bass and midrange.
-The cabinet is a ridged, heavily braised design in real-wood
veneer. The internal design is engineered to absorb internal sound
without decreasing the speaker's dynamic performance. DLS R66
is equipped with a high absorbing base to minimize vibrations
transported to the floor.
