DG: Spencer, how did you get involved with TARA Labs?
TL: I have been with TARA labs for well over a year now, acting sales manager for roughly a year. I
have been in sales of electronics (audio/video/computers) mostly in a retail environment for many years.
Having been familiar with TARA Labs’ brand, as well as the reputation they have for quality and
innovation, the chance to work for such a fantastic company was an opportunity I could not pass up.
DG: Can you introduce us to some of TARA Labs’ products?
TL: Our Zero and Omega cables are highly coveted and considered by many to be the best products on
the market. It is not real hard to get excited about products that are the very pinnacle of the cable industry.
However, because of the price of these products, they are not for everyone. This is what makes our Air
cables so exciting, the trickle down technology from the Zero and Omega cables give the Air series a
sound that is rivaled by most high end brands. Still keeping a reasonable price point to match most mid
level systems, the Air series is a great way to get high end sound with out having to spend your
retirement. The Air 1 Cables was recently awarded as one of Absolute Sounds Editors choice of 2006.
DG: What are some of the new products TARA Labs is working on?
TL: When it comes to new products, there is always something in the works at TARA Labs. Right now
the buzz comes from our new line of Power Screens. Though they are still several months from being
released, our Power Screen line is getting completely revamped. A new look and the addition of Oyaide
Receptacles are just a glimpse of the improvements that will be included on our already popular line of
power screens.
DG: There is a lot of competition out there. Why do you think TARA Labs stands out?
TL: Without a doubt, it’s our knack for innovation, from the introduction of solid core cabling in our
Phase II/TFA cables in 1986 to the release of the RSC (rectangular solid core) and the worlds first
Vacuum dielectric interconnects, The Zero. TARA Labs has been rewriting the book on cable design
since the very beginning. No snake oil or gimmicks, just the highest quality copper and materials along
with proven designs, gives our cables a sound that speaks for itself.
DG: Well, Spencer, you have certainly sold us – we love TARA Labs Products! Can you introduce us to
some of the people that make up TARA Labs?
TL: When it comes to down to what makes TARA Labs tick, without a doubt our dealers are the life
blood of our business. Also notable are our Vice President Matthew Bond and his innovative cable
designs, our Marketing department and there incredible advertisements, as well as our front office and
our committed individuals in the factory. Of course, none of which would be possible with out the
dedication of our dealers and the end users they service.
DG: Any last words?
TL: Thanks to all of our customers and their continued support of TARA labs products. If you haven't had
the opportunity to experience the TARA labs difference, we look forward to making your system truly sing.
