Revolution Design Audio Alpha V.2 Series Subwoofers
The newly redesigned Alpha series subwoofer has set the bar for SQL
subwoofers. The V.2 offers more X-max, increased thermal power handling with
cleaner more authoritative low bass extension than the V.1. Like the original Alpha
the V.2 sounds great while delivering huge SPL numbers.
Alpha Series are a mix of SQ and SPL making them great for street bass or stock
SPL events. They have great low bass capabilities it a small to mid sized ported
box. With 1000 watts there loud, with 2000 they are on the next level. They can also
be placed in small sealed enclosures for tight accurate bass while handling 2000
watts of clean power. Having almost 3” of excursion it makes the Alphas a jack of
all trades. The second version of these subwoofers is a complete upgrade. They
handle more power and handle the power excellent at low frequencies. They have
even better Sound Quality. The newly redesigned Alpha series is an excellent all in
one subwoofer.
The Alpha series subwoofers have been upgraded. We now put dual 120 oz 1”
thick magnet slugs on them with our new deep back plate. We also upgraded the
soft parts in them including the voice coils and spiders. We made all these
upgrades to offer you the best possible subwoofer. With the Alpha series being
our number one selling line of subwoofers we decided to keep the prices exactly
the same. We will be offering 12/15/18” models in either dual two or dual 4. On
custom builds we will also be offering triple stacked 90 oz. magnets or triple
stacked 120 oz. magnets. With custom builds you can also pick from three
different packages that will determine the suspension we use and gap size.
The first choice will be a very musical version with a high Q and a soft suspension.
The Second will also sound great but be geared more towards SPL with a stiffer
suspension and handle more power at low frequencies. The third will be a mix of
the two. Making the Alpha series subwoofer one of a kind!
